I was the central planner for Hossy, Karee1B, Kroondal, Maseve, Nkomati, Finsch

• The managing and coordinating of the long- and short-term planning strategy (Component Replacement forecasting, oil sampling, rebuild strategy, OEM Service Recommendations, Routine Inspections, Preventative work etc).
• The auditing of performance contracts and the reporting of the contract’s performance to the Contract Manager and other stakeholders.
• Highlighting RCFA (root cause failure analysis) opportunities and coordinating of RCFA efforts for contracts.
• The Ad Hoc reporting of sites data to other Sandvik departments.
• To ensure that targets for planned maintenance are met

Working as a central planner for 9 years has given me a wide range of exposures within Sandvik at different departments.

This involved the planning and scheduling of tasks and resources in Maximo to ensure optimal equipment reliability and cost effectiveness. I also did the human resources sections that included payroll, overtime, allowances, requisitions etc.

I qualified as a Millwright and worked as an artisan maintaining equipment. This includes servicing as well as breakdown work

I started my career as an apprentice with Sandvik. I completed my training modules at the De Beers Kimberley training center. I completed all the electrical modules as well as the fitter modules
